The purpose of the Quest is to help Southside's members find God's purpose for their lives.  In past sermons, I have tried to show through scripture how each of us has been created by God, just as we are, to accomplish a specific purpose in life.  This begs the question, "What is my purpose."  The 40 Day Quest for Purpose will help you find God's purpose for your life.

By visiting our website or by following along in the booklets to be distributed during worship service for the next 7 Sundays, you will be challenged to follow Christ through His 40 days in the wilderness as recorded in Matthew 4:1-11.  Through scripture reading, prayer & fasting, you will open your heart, mind and soul to God's voice and guidance.  On Easter Sunday, all who participated will be encouraged to share with others their experience and what they think God has placed upon their hearts.

This Quest is not only important to you as an individual but to Southside as your Church.  As God's people at Southside seek His guidance for their lives, Southside will find direction and purpose as well.
